His agency also provided production services for ByteDance and TikTok brand partnerships across the US, Canada and Australia. During his time at TikTok, Richard oversaw thousands of ads that drove millions of app downloads.
Head of Production @ LiveMe
Prior to TikTok, Richard was Head of Production for Cheetah Mobile (LiveMe), where he managed an in-house content team and built out their in-house studio, overseeing all content strategy and creative for LiveMe and client brand marketing campaigns. He directed, developed, and produced a full slate of weekly original video programming. Richard developed platform strategy and produced static and video content for Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube. He also led client brand pitches and developed premium shows for the LiveMe platform, successfully launching over 30 premium live broadcast shows in under two years. While at LiveMe, Richard oversaw the user acquisition content pipeline, contributing to company growth from 1 million to over 55 million downloads.

Additionally, Richard ran his own agency, where he produced and directed national and local commercials, short films, BTS materials and more with clients such as Bud Light, Advil, Mike's Hard Lemonade, 30 Seconds to Mars, Degree Deodorant, Fathead, Buffalo Wild Wings, MySpace, Fullscreen and more. He also led creative and production for a digital agency First Media and creative agency TBC for clients such as Pampers, Yumi and Hello Fresh.
